Hi, as I always thought any method in an interface is implicitly public, I was a bit confused first. This is why I had a look on the java spec 2.0. In Paragraph 9.4 it is said:
-------- ... Every method declaration in the body of an interface is implicitly public. ... It is permitted, but strongly discouraged as a matter of style, to redundantly specify the public modifier for interface methods. ... -------- I think this is clear.
