If I may just supplement that to help Gordon get moving: LinearProcessor invokes the RemoteDelivery mailet service method. RemoteDelivery service method stores the message in outgoing folder One of the deliveryThreads in RemoteDelivery picks up message from outgoing folder and calls deliver method
On failures within RemoteDelivery deliver, method failMessage is called which handles the retry count etc. Cheers Steve -----Original Message----- From: Serge Knystautas [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, March 08, 2002 8:58 AM To: James Developers List Subject: Re: Sticking with one undeliverable message Well, there's a spool manager code (probably JamesSpoolManager ??) and something in there will create a LinearProcessor that handles taking a message through a processor (calling the appropriate mailets and matchers). So those are good places to start... LinearProcessor should invoke the RemoteDelivery mailet, which eventually/somehow calls the deliver method.
