A quick question regarding mail delivery to multi-user mailboxes via IMAP store protocol.
I have noticed that there is a default user within James's mail server which is delegated with the responsibility of deliverying mail to users' inboxes (INBOX mailbox) whenever they are addressed to appropriate recipients. This mail delivery user is called 'JamesMDA' which acts as a mail delivery agent for IMAP mail delivery to user inboxes. The problem is that this mail agent user is unable to forward mail to the appropriate user inboxes because it does not have lookup right priviledges for any INBOX mailbox to deliver mail to. This is a bug within the proposed IMAP protocol. The ideal solution is to grant lookup rights for every user's INBOX mailbox and not restricted to just the owner of the folder. Ideally, this should be done whenever a new mail account is created within JAMES. The question is: is the above conclusion correct? Look forward to your reply and feedback. Thanks, Sam. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
