I know, but in CVS it's IMHO not really needed - you can always update a
file without a diff and commit it - so CVS does internally "diffing" the
file for saving.
In this case there are some problems with CRLf or Lf or so on, thats
what Andrew said.
But remiving Lf does not resolve the problem, possible the File in CVS
has CrLf's.
