http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15517 A unique message identifier [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |ASSIGNED ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-12-20 17:42 ------- I'll have to check the spec to confirm, but I think what James should be doing is generating and adding a Message-ID header to messages if it receives one without it. Note that Message-ID is supposed to be globally unique, but mail servers often send the same message with the same Message-ID in different sessions for different recipients. This is kosher, and I'm not sure what implications this would have for how you were expecting to be using the unique ID. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
