Matt,
Actually, I don't think that you're far off from the general plan. The only
thing is that we did was a code freeze so that the code would be stable in
order to fix bugs and ship. Perhaps we could have branched it so that the
"feature-itis" folks could have kept coding, but part of the idea was to get
everyone focused on polishing the release, not just adding more and more
without a formal release.
If you'd like to help promote more formal release management within James,
that'd be well appreciated by all.
