BTW, it's all getting quite interesting. You see, James is now deciding to follow more if the mainstream ways of doing things instead of trying the core Avalon way, yet it seems that Avalon could still be used as a backend.
Apart from any technical aspect, it could probably make Avalon and Tomcat parts coexist in a single project, and make us see the "other" way in a more concrete and direct manner.
Is James gonna be the first bridge between these two worlds?
You are all doing an excellent job IMHO in this project, which is alive and kicking.
This is the first reason why James rocks :-D
(of course also because it uses Avalon ;-)
