Should we be really host these RFCs on the James site ? There are a number of autoritative RFC locations and we could just have a set of links to specific RFCs as well as links to sites like IMC.
Orig. the RFCs were under /docs/rfclist. The RFCs were added to make it convenient to refer to protocol specs while developing protocol servers, that led to - let us put it in www as this is good information for external site. Maybe we should pull back and only have links to other other authoritative repositories for mail stanadards.
Yeah, I agree I don't think we need to publish (on the website) these RFCs. I think linking to a site like this would be very useful. Keeping them in CVS is convenient though for development.
