You can turn on the Authorization via config.xml, by setting config element,
<authRequired>true</authRequired>
under nntpserver.
This is unfortunatly all users allowed or no users allowed access. There is
no ACL for NNTP groups.

There is no inbuilt reflection of ListServ traffic via NNTP. But one way of
doing this is to have NNTP Group(s) subscribed to listserv mail. That way
any email sent to a list would be available via appropriate NNTP Group and
the affect would be to reflect list serv mail.
