I now have James running on my system (thanks for the replies to my earlier
post). I am using the nightly snapshot (2001-06-23) on my Linux (Mandrake
8.0) system.
I am trying, now, to setup Squirrelmail on the system. Has anyone set this
up? I understand that IMAP is still underdevelopment, but is it at a stage
where Squirrelmail could connect to it?
I tried setting config.xml to use IMAP instead of basic, which causes
Squirrelmail to report error "Error 111 - connection refused".
If I leave config.xml set to basic, Squirrelmail simply hangs trying to
connect.
Because Squirrelmail connects OK to my company's exchange server, I am
guessing that either 1) James IMAP has not yet reached a point where I can
use squirrelmail, or 2) there is a squirrelmail setting I have wrong for
connecting to James.
Anyone have any expereince with this setup?
