How to use James list ?

Hi,

In JAMES.conf.xml, I found:

  <!-- Sample listserv wrapping a local avalon list of users. -->
  <mailet match="CommandForListserv=james@localhost" class="AvalonListservManager">
      <membersPath> file://../var/users/list-james </membersPath>
  </mailet>
  <mailet match="RecipientIs=james@localhost" class="AvalonListserv">
      <membersonly> false </membersonly>
      <attachmentsallowed> true </attachmentsallowed>
      <replytolist> true </replytolist>
      <membersPath> file://../var/users/list-james </membersPath>
  </mailet>

Can someone give me some help about use james list, and howto use james list with 
database repositories(town) ?
