My recollection is that the log indicated that the first send attempt fails and the rest of the time is spent pending on the resend attempt. I read the spooler code at the time and didn't find any obvious cause.
Please don't waste time assuming this is an accurate bug description -- I didn't take the time to do a really good bug report back then, and anything else is suspect. > -----Original Message----- > From: Danny Angus [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Saturday, January 26, 2002 11:28 AM > To: James Users List > Subject: RE: Mail takes forever to send > > > Does the log suggest that sending from the outbound spool isn't even > attempted? > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Lucas Gonze [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > > Sent: Saturday, January 26, 2002 4:16 PM > > To: James Users List > > Subject: RE: Mail takes forever to send > > > > > > I have also seen this bug, with about the same one hour latency. > > The delay is > > spent sitting in the james outbound queue.
