I currently have JAMES 2.02a/Oracle 8.1.7 installed using message_body type of LONG which is a 2GB text string similar to a VARCHAR2 (max 4000 chars).
Whenever I attempt to write and thus send the mail to a recipient, I noticed that JAMES overwrites and thus clears both the header and body output streams twice. Actually I placed some debug traces in the MimeMessageWrapper class (writeTo(OutputStream headerOs, OutputStream bodyOs, String[] ignoreList) method) and noticed that this gets called 3 times every time JAMES POP server receives new mail for a local recipient within the domain before it actually gets written to the inbox table. I'm confused??? This is the cause of not able to read POP mail's message body as I keep getting giberrish returned. Can anyone please provide some explanation to this? Thanks, Sam. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
