Hi,

Thats a difficult question to answer, what are you using to create and read
the messages?
James, as a general rule, is not interested in the composition of messages
unless you create a mailet which is.
James uses a sun MimeMessage class (i forget the exact package) internally
to handle representations of messages, which hasn't caused any problems as
far as I am aware.
James stores messages in the db repository as an exact text representation
of the message recieved.
Therefore I'm not clear what your problem relates to, but I suspect it is
connected to either the message creation or your custom handling of
messages.
I've been using James with MySQL on Linux as my primary SMTP gateway for
several months without any problems.
