I have Java (Sun JVM 1.4) and James installed on RH 7.02. I ran /bin/run.sh initally to get James installed. Now when I run James it hangs on SMTP service. I realize that sendmail is using port 25 and I could disable it. Is this a good practice. What other issues should I watch out for. Is it better to have JAMES use SMPT on a different port.
