One thing to watch with JServAny:
If you are using JDK 1.3, you will find that when a user logs out from the
NT server console, the jservany process will exit. I am not sure if this
has been fixed in a recent release or not. The reason is that jservany
uses the default console handler, which responds to the logout event by
exiting. JDK 1.3 now interprets OS signals and therefore exits when the
user logs out, even when it is running as a service.
The Javaserv wrapper is similar to jservany, but implements its own console
handler, which ignores the logout event. If you have trouble, use that
instead.

Service

Please respond to
"James Users List"
This post is in response to someone who had a question about running
installing james as a NT/2000 Service.
I have successfully used an open source tool called jsrvany.
http://jsrvany.sourceforge.net/
It might require a little bit of java coding and a wrapper. But definitely
a good tool and quite easy to use.
