I would suggest it might be connected with the db or jdbc driver, I *know*
Oracle 9i isnt a fly by night piece of homespun crap.. but James works fine
using MySQL. Also, others have had a few problems using 8i as well.
I would suggest that you look in sqlresources.xml for anything that looks
suspicious, and that you make sure that the message size limit in config.xml
is 0 (no limit)

Probably not, but may be worth a try just to be doubly sure.. its the ODBC3
(cf ODBC2) in 1.4 that causes build failure uner 1.4

 and next week I can transfer the db to an Oracle 8.1.7
