yahoo.com is not the name of yahoo's mail server. (In fact, yahoo has
three mail servers listed in DNS - mx1.mail.yahoo.com, mx2.mail.yahoo.com
and mx4.mail.yahoo.com) I would guess that you are getting a timeout,
(rather than a connection refused,) because yahoo's firewall is dropping
packets for ports that it's boxes do not listen on.
BTW - why would you expect yahoo to relay mail for you? I would guess that
yahoo will prevent you from relaying mail through their servers, even if
you do get the host name correct. They probably only allow mail addressed
to a yahoo account, or from a host on their own network.
