Unfortunately the website was actually updated just a few minutes before 
I had committed some additional questions, including the classpath one 
(although it's not that great of an answer).

Yes, it would be nicer to actually make it more user-friendly, and while 
Avalon provides what we have now, we're still allowed to create our own 
classloaders for mailets and matchers.  I've got half an implementation 
on my machine, but classloaders aren't the easiest things to wrestle 
with, so it's not ready to be applied.
