I'll make a bet that your DNS settings in JAMES config.xml are not 
correct... either nothing is set or the DNS servers you've set aren't 
responding.

I say this because your message to hotmail.com is attempting to deliver 
to the host 'hotmail.com'.  JAMES does a lookup for MX records, and it 
should be finding the following for hotmail...
mx07.hotmail.com
mx08.hotmail.com
...
mx12.hotmail.com

The fact that JAMES is trying to connect to a host Hotmail.com means it 
could not find any MX records and is falling back to just sending to an 
A/CNAME record (which is just the hostname).

So double check your DNS entries are correct.  I'm trying to think if 
there's a good way to test and report to the console that DNS servers 
aren't setup right, but I'm not sure of the best way.
