If you WANT such a convention for YOUR environment, that's fine.  All that
you'd have to do is put something like [me, mydomain, me..mydomain.com] into
the SMTP mapping table.  On the other hand, I don't happen to want that
convention for MY host(s).

There is no direct mapping between STMP and POP3.  I am defining a mechanism
to standardize HOW to map, not WHAT to map.
