I submitted a patch for this some weeks ago and Serge came up with a better solution. Check the mail archives for details.
Steve -----Original Message----- From: Blasius Lofi Dewanto [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, May 01, 2002 11:06 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Urgent: Bugs 2288 - James Hi all, I would like to know the status of the bug nr: 2288 http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2288 Description: If a mail bounces and James tries to return the message, and the sender mail or SMTP server is invalid, exceptions will scroll continuously in the mailet.log file and James will never recover until that message is deleted from the outgoing message directory. I use James2.02a and also have this problem. - The mailet.log just grows and grows. - The zero sized messages must be deleted manually. My questions are: - Can I turn off the mailet.log? - Can James automatically delete all the zero sized messages? Does someone have a solution or workaround for this problem?
