I'm running james as an inhouse mail and news server. Now I ran into a problem with the NNTP server: Within one of our newsgroups, the dates of the postings are mixed up. The postings aren't dated according to the date of posting but to the date of retrieval from the client. So if I newly subscribe to the group, all postings in the group have the current date. This happened with several versions of Outlook Express as news client.
Another problem is that I don't get ZewNews (www.zeonews.com) working with James. ZeoNews always crashes when attempting to download certain messages from James. Is this just some smaller bug or a serious problem with the NNTP section of the code? Or maybe a known issue with ZeoNews?
