No, you need'nt succumb to the bug and move your stuff to a directory without spaces. I put all of my stuff off of Window's "My Documents". build.bat has a bug in this regard and it's in Avalon's Pheonix which is what bootstraps James. I reported the bug a week or two ago and they promptly fixed it. Whenever James updates to a newer Avalon, this should be fixed. To temporarily fix it for yourself, you need to find the command in build.bat that executes java, towards the end, and wrap some of the parameters with double quotes. It's a simple fix.
