This is a "feature" of Avalon... they were trying to support multiple 
repositories in the same directory, but wasn't completely thought 
through.  You'll see the same thing if you reconfigure the mail 
repositories in the conf file and restart, although changing user 
accounts is obviously more notable.

I'll patch this for the next release (alpha 4 I suppose) so we 
stop/ignore the counting naming convention.
