Egads, yeah I don't think the RemoteDelivery mailet supports SSL for delivery. We support receiving via SSL, just not sending. :) Would be nice if we can change that.
I don't know how much refactoring is really necessary, and I vaguely remember a Javaworld article recently about using JavaMail and JSSE to send messages.
