hello, i am currently using James 2.0a2 without problems except for SMTP AUTH with netscape and OS X clients. i am trying to upgrade to james-2.1a1-2002-08-18 because of its ability to accept authentication from these clients. i am running James on a WinXP Home machine with JRE1.4.1rc installed and have been testing the configuration with the server machine and another WinXP Home machine on my network with Outlook Express 6. the installation of james-2.1a1-2002-08-18 works fine when configured as localhost. i should mention that i experience the same problem with James 2.0a3.
