Dear James Users,

I recently installed James. I seem to have no problem getting it running. I can
telnet to remote manager and create an account as described. However, when I attempt
to send a mail to that user, I get the following runtime error:

----------------------------------------------------------
Phoenix 4.0a4

Application file:/C:/James/apps/james.sar uses a deprecated packag
ing format.

va:207)

ecutableRunnable.java:47)
        at org.apache.avalon.excalibur.thread.impl.WorkerThread.run(WorkerThread
.java:86)
-----------------------------------------------------------------

I have a suspicion that this is a configuration issue but I am confused as to which
configuration files are important. The documentation talks about a james.conf.xml
file but all I can find is a james-conf.xml file in src/conf and a config.xml in
apps/james/conf. Are there any others? Should these files reside in the
JAMESROOT/conf directory?

What am I missing? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Michael
