We've written one, but it's part of our (commercial) groupware software.

However, we copied a lot of the ezmlm functionality including the VERP
style addresses (better bounce handling), digest handling and mail
commands. Yes it is a mailet, but it's an awful lot of code. It would be
difficult to decouple from our DB schema to form a standalone product,
but not impossible.
