Sorry to post on this yet again. I'm sure everyone here is tired of see this subject line.
Yes, I read the archives but I'm still unclear as to what the status of virtual host support is. What I was able to glean is that: 1) There is (or was) some contention within the official group of developers about how best to handle virtual hosting. 2) There are at least two (three?) different *unofficial* sets of patches that will add virtual hosting support to James 3) There are messages in the archive indicating that virtual host support is "in", but I can't make out if this is a message from an "official" James developer or one of the unofficial patch contributors. Short answer is that I'm confused. Can somebody clue me in? To whit: * It's not in the current release, right? * It's unlikely to be in the next (late Nov, cross your fingers) release, right? * Where is it on the development priority list (if not already in the current or upcoming releases)? * If running a patched FrankenJames is the only way to get virtual hosting now, anybody got any suggestions about what patches to use and what version(s) of James these patches will work with?
