Sorry to post on this yet again. I'm sure everyone here is tired of see
this subject line.

Yes, I read the archives but I'm still unclear as to what the status of
virtual host support is.

What I was able to glean is that:

1) There is (or was) some contention within the official group of developers
about how best to handle virtual hosting.

2) There are at least two (three?) different *unofficial* sets of patches
that will add virtual hosting support to James

3) There are messages in the archive indicating that virtual host support is
"in", but I can't make out if this is a message from an "official" James
developer or one of the unofficial patch contributors.

Short answer is that I'm confused. Can somebody clue me in? To whit:

* It's not in the current release, right?

* It's unlikely to be in the next (late Nov, cross your fingers) release,
right?

* Where is it on the development priority list (if not already in the
current or upcoming releases)?

* If running a patched FrankenJames is the only way to get virtual hosting
now, anybody got any suggestions about what patches to use and what
version(s) of James these patches will work with?

Thanks!

- Gary
