I am using eMail2001 from http://www.esoft.com.au/ There is a free Lite version which allows reading and deleting e-mails, but not sending. It works for me.
I also found the following http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/javaserverpages/emailapps/
which seems to be a sort of tutorial with code included for webmail.
You could also look through http://java.sun.com/products/javamail/Third_Party.html

hi,
webmail with pop3 support? I had a look at jwma
[http://jwma.sourceforge.net] which does not support pop3[only IMAP supported]
and jwebmail [http://jwebmail.sourceforge.net/] gets deployed on tomcat 4.1 but
the first access crashes tomcat without any further information.
Any other options I can try?
Thanks,

Hemant,
Any webmail that supports POP3 ought to work.

Subject: web based email access for James
Hello,
I have succesfully setup James on my server configured for correct
incoming and outgoing messages. Our clients are able to access emails through
outlook and other such clients. But the proposal is being made for web based
email access. Anyone has tried any such software?
Do let me know.
