Check out the beta version of the 2.1 documentation at

I would also strongly advise that you use the 2.1 release candidate
rather than 2.0a3.  There were quite a few bugs fixed in 2.1.  See the
changelog for details.

As far as your particular problem goes, I assume you've done the obvious
and made sure that the user id and password are correct.  From your
description, the user id should be "test".  The password is whatever you
set it up to be when you added the user through the RemoteManager.
