May I ask where you saw it, so I could update it to [email protected]? > I'm compiling the ring-project for windows-qt, but i faced this problem as > shown next screenshot . > [image: image.png] > it seems like the problem is on, > "[ DEBUG 1625140226.950211 apply: 420 ] patching openssl... > [ DEBUG 1625140227.480001 setup_vs_env: 706 ] Setting up vs > environment > dictionary update sequence element #0 has length 1; 2 is required > [ ERROR 1625140229.480147 resolve: 469 ] Make openssl failed!" > > Specs and Version as follow > Windows 10 pro > Visual Studio 2019 Community > Windows 10 SDK 10.0.19041,0 > QT 5.12.11 - MSVC_2017_64 > > What do I do to proceed from here? Unfortunately I don't see any screenshot/photos in your email. I don't use Windows myself, so I likely won't be able to help, but I could try asking one of the Jami developers who runs Windows to see if they could help. How are you trying to build it? I believe the easiest way would be using the `build.py' script in the jami-project repository. The following page contains instructions for building the jami-qt client on Windows: https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-client-qt/-/blob/master/INSTALL.md > Thank You Jami :) > > Regards, > Brightson.J > Best, -- Amin Bandali Free Software Consultant Savoir-faire Linux jami:bandali
