my dictionary.

"Katsute" or "katte" is an adverve meaning "once; before". It's a
common word which should be listed in any Japanese dictionary.

"Enen (to)" is an adverve, not adjective. It means "endlessly".

No. It's two adjectives, a conjunctive form of "samuzamushii"
and "taegatai". It means the relationship is both "samuzamushii"
and "taegatai".

translation?

I don't know. It means the relationship has died and become
completely cold. I think there is some word more appropriate for this
case.

I need the whole passage to answer this question. "Omowareta"
means "it seems (to me/him/her/them) that ..."

Thanks. Actually I'm writing this in an internet cafe in London now.
I'm afraid I can't replay for the next four weeks.

By the way, doesn't your English translation need a verb like the
following one?

> She thought that the idea of continuing a heartless, meandering

> WAS intolerable and desolate."
