thanks for all the replies. i have my two japanese textbooks, and
almost through the second. Genki and it's workbook seem good, mostly
for the workbook, as drilling is something I badly need. Might see
about a phrasebook to work up some more usefull things to say too, and
to pick grammar apart. Thanks for all the replies ^^
