Hello, all. I've decided it's time to buy an electronic dictionary, but it's crazy how many models there are! I think I've got it narrowed down to two, and I'm wondering if anyone has either of them and can tell me any particularly good and bad points that it's good to know about before spending $300+, but may not necessarily occur to me. Also, if anyone really really loves a different model, please let me know and I'll take another look at it.
I'm looking at the Canon Wordtank V80 and the Seiko SR-T7100. The lack of words in the Canon dictionaries compared to the Seiko is sort of worrying me, but I don't know how that plays out in actual use. I use an Wacom tablet with my laptop and IME Pad for most kanji lookup at home, so I'm used to writing into dictionaries, but I'm wondering how comfortable it is to use Canon's stylus. I'm in my third year of Japanese at college, planning to go to Japan next year, and I'm in my second year of Chinese, so the Chinese capabilities of the V80 would be useful (I think). But anyway, enough about me - let's talk of dictionaries! Thanks! ~Dynamint [cross-posted to Japanese-Students-Online] ------------------------ Yahoo!
