I'll try my best, even though I am not Japanese myself. Japanese is
not so difficult to learn as it is to use. Certain nuances in
communication can only be picked up by immersion in a Japanese-only
environment. Language isn't just about grammar and semantics.

A few questions. Is the person you are writing to someone you know
personally or only as a professional? If the latter, be sure to
use "humble" language if he is a high-ranking professional.

Where "yômingaku" was inserted, I put that to mean Western folk
music. What exactly did you mean by "folk music"? I could have
inserted "yôminka" to say that you sing (as opposed to only playing
music). Do you sing or do you play music, or both.

Also, where "ongaku-gaisha" was inserted, it means "music company".
I could have used REIBORU, but I suppose you meant a music company
(which we know, of course, as a record label).

The number 12 is read "Jû-ni" in Japanese.

"Ongi" is a Japanese word for a debt of gratitude. This is what
Thanksgiving is about, so I inserted the word.

Are you writing the note in Rômaji or regular Japanese script?
