Hi all,

I have made several changes to the japhar list. There are basically two
results of the changes:

o spam should be significantly reduced (if not eliminated)
o the list's official name is [EMAIL PROTECTED]

The old address, [EMAIL PROTECTED], still works.

Posts that come from a subscribed address will go directly to the list
with no need for approval. Posts that come from an unknown address will
be subject to moderator approval.

If you know that you will be posting from a different address than you
are subscribed with you have a couple of choices:

o You can do nothing. When I receive posts requiring approval I will
compare the From address to the subscription list and if it looks
like an alternate address to one of our subscribers I will add it
to the "allow" list. This will give that address permission to
post unmoderated messages in the future.

o Or, you can add your alternate email address to the "allow" list
yourself. You would do this by sending a blank email from that
alternate address to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .

I've done all the testing and double-checking that I think necessary but
if I missed something or something isn't working right, let me know.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Cheers,
Vern
