I was present at NORDU 99, the Scandinavian Usenix conference in
Stockholm this year. Also present was Joakim Dahlstedt from Appeal
Software Solutions. He was presenting their JVM RockIt. It is
supposed to use adaptive optimizations to get a fast JVM.
He sounded like a decent developer, and I'm looking forward to see the
finished product.

They will present the product at JavaONE in june. During the
presentation it was said that a test version would be available from
march, but I was unable to find anything on the web site. :-(
