Ok, after I managed to achieve some positive debugging cluon flux density last week for the Linux/Sparc platform, I'm now attempting to figure out what causes the following (ignoring the mutex assertion failure): springbok.aero.org 129% env CLASSPATH=.:/work/space/japhar/share/classes.zip \ japhar Sieve FAILED: (to low score)FAILED: Exception java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: disparate values Assertion failure: mon != NULL, at ../../../../pr/src/pthreads/ptsynch.c:470 fatal signal handler called, signal = 10 I grepped through the Japhar source, this message is not generated by Japhar. It appears to originate in the Java classes.zip. I did try using the 1.2 jar files instead but this causes segmentation faults (I'm looking into this problem). I should also have a patch for the assertion failure RSN unless Chris beats me to it. Before anyone asks me why I'm sinking so many cycles into Japhar as of late, the answer is "Because blackdown is really slow getting new snaps of 1.2 out the door for Linux/Sparc." At least with Japhar I can control my own fate. -scooter
