No. This also works fine and more... the syslog works well and all is logged at /var/log/all.log. It's important to emphasize that i have not modify jasmine file and the same configuration, the same file, logs to syslog and when it's launched by cups i get no log. Here is the key issue and it's something strange xD > > Another thing : Try to look at jasmine's messages on CUPS's web interface > (http://cups-server:631/) : When viewing a particular printer, you should > notice some lines near the printer image : > > Description: ... > Location: ... > Etat de l'imprimante: ready, accepting jobs > "jasmine: User 'nayco' printed 1 pages on printer 'hp2550'" > Device URI: jasmine:socket://ic_hp2550_s205:9100 > > Notice that jasmine outputs it's status on the 4th line, so you may be > able to see its error messages there. At least, the last one ;-) > Yes i check this webpage continously because after two/three attempts of printig using "jasmine:lpd://xxx.xx.xx.x" the printer automatically rejects all jobs and i must enable the printer continously. > > > Try to set LogLevel to "debug" in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf > > > Yes i have done and i attach you a large log but i think it's not > > interesting. > > Mmmm, maybe /var/log/cups/access.log could provide some info (i.e. > jasmine's output) ? No, nothing interesting. I'll reboot the machine and tomorrow you will have more news about me and my freebsd server xDD. Cheers, -- Christian Pinedo Zamalloa -- Put JASmine in your Cups !
