Woah now we're getting somewhere! I only logged into the MySQL server locally. I just tried logging into it remotely, read this... chpas-lansvcs:~ # mysql -h 192.168.10.45 -u jasmine -p Enter password: ERROR 1251: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client
I'm going to hold off the logging steps until I hear what you think about this...
