Can you help me? This is off-topic, but it's actually easy enough to be mentionned here : install "pam-ldap". Next, you'll need to configure it. You'll find documentation on the web :) Note that : - Installing pam-ldap will enable pam auth for most of the services on this machine, not only cups. - JASmine will automatically display the ldap user names as long as they print something. - "getent passwd" and "getent group" are your two favorite commands lines. - On Debian, it's "apt-get install lib_pam-ldap", IIRC, and "urpmi pam-ldap" on Mageia/Mandriva.
