I am battling to get my subreport to open when clicking on a hyperlink in
the master report. I am defining the hyperlink on a displayed field of
userId ($F{userId}), Hyperlink Target: Self, Hyperlink Type:
ReportExecution, Hyperlink Reference Expression:
"/home/mike/Documents/Reports/subreport.jasper", Link Parameter: userId,
Link Parameter Expression: $F{userId}.This config doesn't seem to work! Does the ReportExecution option work for plain jasper reports or do I need a JasperServer? How do I link parameters to subreports? The master report runs fine in iReport, the userId field is recognised as a hyperlink (the cursor changes to a hand) but clicking on the field does nothing!!! Hope someone can help.
