In short: It it runs OS/2, Dos, Windows, Java, and X11/Unix applications
all at the same time on the best desktop yet (WorkPlaceShell). I also
can develope most of my UNIX code on it for work and then take it
down to the lab for integration on an embedded VME system. I know
you guys/gals are mostly Linux'ites but every time I think it may be
time to dive back into the fray, OS/2 gets the ability to do what I need
it to do. I'm only running Linux on my homes server and router because
it keeps my foot wet in it. There is even a tool that takes Win32 apps
and generates native OS/2 dll's and exe's. As a developer, I've been
able to write multithreaded applications since 1991, still run a ksh
shell and most *nix tools (awk, sed, grep, etc). I could go on but
its time to get back to figuring out applet to servlet communications.

This will be moved to the Linux server but for right now, I enjoy
developing on my laptop. It lets me develope and use a much
wider variety of applications that no other OS allows. Yet.

Thanks for you iterest. :)
