Hi Listers,
I just installed Apache 1.3.4 and JServ on my NT machine. I created a
zone by name development as suggested in the "How to install servlets"
document that comes along with the installable. I did all that
is necessary adding configurations to development.properties,
jserv.properties as suggested in that document.
When I try to run my servlet in this zone, I get an error saying "The
server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable
to complete your request."
My mod_jserv.log shows the following:
[23/02/1999 17:42:56:569] (INFO) wrapper: Java Virtual Machine crashed
[23/02/1999 17:42:56:569] (INFO) wrapper: VM died too many times w/in 5
second intervals (6); no more tries
[23/02/1999 17:42:56:569] (INFO) wrapper: too many restart attempts w/in
short timeframes; no more tries. There may be an error in your JServ
configuration.
I installed it on another machine. This time, apart from the earlier
one, I got an error saying:
[23/02/1999 18:15:42:505] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: can not connect to host
127.0.0.1:8007
[23/02/1999 18:15:42:505] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: connection fail
[23/02/1999 18:15:42:505] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via
protocol "ajpv11"
What could be the problem?
Any help is highly appreciated.
