I don't have that in my *.properties files...

Here is my *working* configuration:

Although, did you define this:

# Apache JServ entry point class (should not be changed)
# Syntax: wrapper.class=[classname]
# Default: "org.apache.jserv.JServ"

I bet that if you defined wrapper.class, then it wouldn't be able to find
the "Default".
