Hi

i would be lucky if you saved me half an hour testing by answering this
simple question:

what happens to threads, created by servlets if they (the servlets) are
kicked out of memory by timeout ?

and if they are terminated as well: how to create threads that will persist
?

in order to prevent questions about bad design <bg> :
this thread should keep care of certain DB values and sould be bundled
within the .jar where the servlets reside. i do not like the idea of
having a seperate JVM running/sleeping dedicated to tasks like this.

any suggestions welcome anyway.
