I got JMeter 1.1 running right now but can't figure what it's trying to tell me. For example, the average for myURL is 0536. Is that to say that the Apache server completes a response for myURL (from request to receipt of response headers) on average in half a second? In the dot plots, what's the data number on the right of the actions panel... the latest data point returned? And why do I get a NullPointerException whenever I try to open an output file for saving samples (the file exists and is writable)? In one case, the URL is a CGI that queries a database, retrieves and convert some files, then loads four frames, the source for one frame being a servlet. I'm guessing that I see just the CGI response and not the other things it spawns since calling the serlet directly results in greater times. Any explanation of JMeter (beyond the docs, which I have read) or ideas on how best to use this tool are appreciated. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thad Humphries "Microsoft...
