Thanks for the reply. Are you sure about the above though?
My DocumentRoot is /opt/apache/htdocs and yet
"ApJServMount /servlets /servlets" allows me to successfully access
servlets with "http://www.mymachine.com/servlets/myServlet" and I
do not have a directory "servlets" in my document root. This only
seems to make sense if the param is relative to the ServerRoot.
